The Peace Mothers, known as Saturday Mothers, and their supporters take part in a demonstration in central Istanbul. The Peace Mothers, who lost a close relative in the armed conflict in Southeast Anatolia, have gathered for 350 weeks at the same place to demand peace between Turks and Kurds. Thousands of people have been killed and many of them were buried in unknown mass graves in the last three-decade of the country s bloody history.
